Community Action at Ross seeks to create a culture of active community participation and volunteerism within the greater Ross community, such that community action remains integral throughout students’ lives in the future. We will do this by providing service opportunities, helping students understand how service benefits both disadvantaged communities and personal development, and discussing strategies to incorporate volunteering into busy schedules. We hope to set a benchmark of a majority of Ross students to commit to at least 10 hours of service per academic year.

Thus, we hope to create a sustainable model of constant and reliable volunteerism from Ross to become an entrenched member of the broader community and thereby create a stronger internal community of more socially aware leaders.
