The University of Michigan's Ross Energy Club hosted its seventh annual Renewable Energy Case Competition (RECC) on Thursday and Friday, December 3rd and 4th, 2015. One of the premier energy case competitions in the United States, The RECC is a traditional style case competition that takes place at the Stephen M. Ross School of Business in Ann Arbor, Michigan each year.

We would like to congratulate the 2015 RECC Winners and Finalists listed below:

o   First Place - PerfectStorm – UCLA Anderson School of Management

o   Second Place - Sunny Side Up – University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business

o   Third Place - Social Solar – Northwestern University Kellogg School of Management

o   Fourth Place - Green Light – University of Chicago Booth School of Business

MBA teams from national and international top business schools competed to solve one of the many significant challenges facing the renewable energy industry today. A sound understanding of finance, business strategy, and the energy industry was required to effectively analyze the case and devise a successful solution.

The 2016 RECC will be held on December 1-2, 2016 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Further details will be released in September 2016.
