Entrepalooza 2010: The Impact of Entrepreneurship

Sept. 16 - keynote speaker Vishen Lakhiani, a U-M graduate and co-founder of Malaysian-based MindValley, will present on internet business building and company culture. He has quickly become regarded as one of the world's most sought after speakers in this area.
Following the keynote presentation, a Pitch Competition will be held. Students will have 90 seconds to pitch the audience and a panel of judges, comprised of investors, about their incredible business idea. The winner will receive a cash prize of $250 and will have the opportunity to have lunch with Jeff Williams of Accuri Cytometers. Pitch submissions are due by midnight Sept. 9. Sept. 17 - keynote speaker Jeffery Williams (MBA '92), President and CEO of Accuri Cytometers will present on 'The Art of the Exit'. Prior to Accuri, as the former President and CEO of Ann Arbor based HandyLab, Inc., Jeff led the growth and venture financing of the company, ultimately resulting in a sale to Becton, Dickinson & Co. for $275 million in November '09.
