Who can run? Any graduate student. A BBA may run if he/she has previously served on the SGA Executive Board~Chair and create agendas for all Executive Board meetings (regular and special)~Serve on Boards and Committees within the Business School when approached by faculty, staff and administration to do so.~Serve on Boards and Committees within the general University of Michigan when approached to do so.~Meet regularly with the SGA Advisor.~Appoint a student to fill any Executive Board vacancy that arises due to removal or resignation of an Officer, with the advice, consent and approval of the majority of the Executive Board.~Act as the main liaison for publicity issues.~Undertake special projects as needed~Foster alignment between administration directives/initiatives and student body concerns.~Develop and steer initiatives/projects that continually enhance the Ross student experience
Vice President of Graduate Day Students
Who can run? Any full-time Ross graduate student~Serve as the President of the Graduate Council~Represent MBA, MAcc and MSCM issues and concerns to the SGA Executive Board.~Coordinate the elections of MBA I Section Representatives.~Chair special meetings with MBA Section Representatives.~Chair and coordinate Graduate Council and Committee meetings: Act as regular liaison between the Graduate Council and Executive Board~Coordinates membership of the 100/100 committee and MBA Celebration committee
Vice President of BBA Affairs
Who can run? Any Ross BBA student~Serve as President of the BBA Council~Represent BBA issues and concerns to the SGA Executive Board.~Meet regularly with the BBA Council Advisor.~Coordinate the elections of BBA section representatives.~Chair special meetings with BBA section representatives.
Vice President of Finance
Who can run? Any Ross student~Keep accurate account of all money received and expended by the Student Government throughout the year.~Make expenditures with the advice, consent and approval of the Executive Board.~Develop the SGA budget with the advice and approval of the Executive Board at the beginning of each academic year. Submit SGA Budget to advisor.~Prepare a financial summary statement for each of the Student Government Executive Board meetings.~Manage the process for Student Club funding requests and disbursements, including the funding request form.
Vice President of Clubs
•Who can run? Any Ross student~Build and manage good relationships with clubs and help them succeed in event planning, conference management, speaker engagement, and other club activities.~Manage the Annual Meet the Clubs events in the fall, including the SGA table.~Work with Student Life and clubs to streamline events and conference management.~Coordinate with Student Life to conduct transitioning and training sessions with club leaders.~Work with VP of Marketing and Communications to maintain/update SGA club resources site.
Vice President of Marketing and Communications
Who can run? Any Ross student~Ensure SGA mission, goals and ongoing activities are communicated to students.~Work with Student Life to update and maintain SGA website.~Take meeting minutes and make available when requested by any member of the Ross community.~If unable to take meeting minutes, it is the duty of this office to appoint another officer to take and distribute the meeting minutes.~Create and execute PR for the Elections of the new SGA Executive Board.~Undertake special projects as needed to facilitate student-SGA and student-administration communication~Serve as primary liaison to Monroe Street Journal~Develop the SGA brand through social media and other awareness related initiatives
