The past few years have proved a "fork-in-the-road" moment for many corporations, evaluating how to address racial inequities both internally and in broader society. As the next class of Corporate America's leaders, this transformative way of thinking is imperative for future professional success. Daniel Garcia, a CEO Action for Racial Equity (CEOARE) fellow, will share his perspective on progress that's been made and the challenges that lie ahead.

Daniel Garcia is a renowned business leader with over 20 years of experience working alongside internal and client executive teams from some of the world's largest brands. Daniel specializes in driving customer and cultural transformations, using progressive change management techniques and a commitment to driving diversity and inclusion as part of any strategy.  Having worked across eight different industries and 18 countries, Daniel's core skill of storytelling helps connect with stakeholders at all levels of an organization.

Daniel holds an MBA with the Highest Distinction from the University of Michigan and a BS in International Business from the University of Maryland. As co-founder of Dry Goods Refillery, Daniel is passionate about bringing sustainable, plastic-free grocery options to our communities. He is inspired daily by his wife and his two sons, and in his free time, enjoys visiting new countries, playing football, and reliving his glory days as a local DJ.
