Detroit Partners Trek

Sarah and David Timmes along with Jasmin and Daryl Brown are hosting this awesome two-day/one-night trip to explore Detroit!

Do you like making new friends and having a good time? If so, we’ve got the trek for you! Perhaps that FOMO is starting to set in with friends heading off on MTrek, but fear no more! We are going to do it up Detroit style over the course of an amazing, fun-filled weekend! We plan to kick things off right with a happy hour in Ann Arbor to get to know one another on Friday, August 18^th and then carpool into Detroit on Saturday. Bring your appetite and your Tiger’s gear because Saturday will be all about exploring the city. We plan to hit a few bars and restaurants before the game as well as take in the River Walk and Campus Martius Beach. If you are unfamiliar with the beach, give it a Google. Super cute! Tiger’s game will be at 4PM with a group dinner to follow. After this, get ready for a night out in Greektown to party and celebrate new friendships! If you are still hungry (of course you will be!) maybe a Detroit Coney Dog is in your future. Sunday morning, we will point you towards some amazing brunch spots! If you have the time, we encourage you to stay in Detroit and check out the DIA or Belle Isle! So much to do and see! Let’s get this year started. GO BLUE!
