Our annual Career Trek to New York City will take place October 23-24 during Fall A break. The trek is an excellent way for you to learn what it's like to work in retail and luxury industries, and also exclusively network with companies that don't necessarily recruit on campus. We will be meeting with employees from several organizations and focus on leading topics in strategy, innovation, customer engagement, supply chain, marketing, and sustainability. Some companies will also discuss potential internship and full-time career opportunities.
You are responsible for your own transportation to and from New York, as well as your own accommodations. RLG will provide transportation to and from the companies (once the trek begins), as well as lunch on both days.

Thursday, October 24th 8:00 am - 4:00 pm

How to Join:
If you register for this event, you will be asked to put down a $60 deposit, and are committed to attending.
VERY IMPORTANT – Details to Know Before Registering:
(*) You MUST attend all trek company visits (plan on staying for the full two days).
(*) A mandatory trek education session will be hosted by RLG in advance of the trek for all those participating. Date TBD – will not conflict with MBA1 finals schedule.
(*) There will be a $60 deposit to secure your spot. $30 will be refunded to you once the trek concludes. Please carefully consider your registration and ability to participate in this trek – any member who cancels after registering on Campus Groups for the trek will NOT have their deposit refunded, and you will be removed from the club.
(*) Before registering, please be aware of any other trek/travel plans. You must plan other commitments accordingly.
(*) Finally, please send a copy of your resume to Lauren Baum (lmbaum@umich.edu) by Monday, October 7.
