A Note from CDO/CC@R
Coffee Chats: Please be advised, if you not part of the student population for which the chat is arranged (i.e. MBA1 for full-time chat, MBA2 for internship chat), you will not be able to view it on Ross Recruit.
CDO Corner: Ross Recruit drop in hours from 1-1:45 on Mondays and Thursdays. Here is the zoom link. There are also coaching links and gchat information as well as all of our CDO resources here.
Resume Review: Ahead of resume publishing on October 12th, all MBA1s have the opportunity to sign up for a peer review (to compliment FACT Group, CDO and Peer Coach reviews that may be ongoing). Here's how it works...
-
Simply upload your resume using this link by Wednesday, September 30 at 11:59 PM.
-
On Thursday, October 1, you will receive three of your classmates’ resumes and will be asked to review them by Wednesday, October 7 at 11:59 PM. This isn’t an anonymous process--your name will be linked to the comments you give in case the student has any follow-up questions.
-
You will receive your own three peer feedback responses on Thursday, October 8th.
-
You will make final changes to your resume using that feedback and ensure the final version is in iMpact by Sunday, October 11 at 11:59 pm.
-
Recruiters will have access to view your default published resume on Monday, October 12.
As a reminder, you can find all of the resume resources (checklist, resume guide, action words) on the CDO website.
Ross Recruit: It is important to check Ross Recruit on a daily basis to ensure you are up to date with upcoming coffee chats and events. While the URLs below are maintained regularly by both CDO and CC@R, things can change last minute. In the Resrouce Library on Ross Recruit, you'll find instructions on how to set up alerts and calendar reminders to make this a seamless and more automated process.
