SUPPORT YOUR RECRUITING JOURNEY

We review resume and cover letters for members interested in pursuing entertainment. We also conduct mock interviews to maximize preparation.

HELP BUILD YOUR NETWORK

We organize career panels and coffee chats with current students, alumni, and thought leaders in the entertainment space. We also facilitate networking events with entertainment-minded business school students at other MBA programs.

FOSTER CONNECTION

We organize social events for club members such as happy hours and private movie screenings in order to create opportunities to bond and foster community.

Maddie, a jazz musician since the age of eight, is passionate about the intersection of entertainment and technology. In 2017, she graduated from Colgate University with a degree in Sociology and Music. Prior to Ross, she worked in product and marketing at Blue Engine Records, Jazz at Lincoln Center's in-house record label. This past summer, she interned in product management at Spotify.

Emily
Griffith

Emily is originally from Ann Arbor, MI but, prior to Ross, spent the last 5 years as an actress/composer in NYC. At Ross, Emily is a member of the Entertainment & Media Club, Entrepreneur and Venture Capital Club, Risky Business, and Follies. Post-MBA, Emily will be joining Bain & Company. She loves to read, watch period dramas, and knit in her free time.

Vaughn
Michael

Chief Operations Officer

Vaughn is a Military Brat, who lived in 8 different locations before graduating high school, including 5 years in Europe. A West Point Graduate, Vaughn is a US Army veteran of 9 years who is passionate about the intersection of entertainment and technology. He is a giant Marvel and Star Wars nerd who loves movies and television. This past summer he worked as a Digital Strategy Associate at Adobe.

Aidan
Kahn

Aidan spent the 5 years prior to business school in NYC where he worked in media, entertainment, and sports. At Ross, Aidan is looking to pivot into the finance world to work at the intersection of media and business. This summer he is interning at Citi as an Investment Banking Associate in their Media & Communications group.

Rogelio
Lemarroy Montanaro

After 2 years as an operations manager for a gasoline company, Rogelio decided to pursue his musical dream as a DJ and Music Producer. He has performed globally at the most iconic clubs and festivals and in 2017 became the first Mexican DJ to sign with Sony Music Mexico. With an MBA he is hoping to pivot into Marketing or product management at a Media & Entertainment or Tech company. This summer he interned as a marketing manager at Ecolab.

Fleishman

Josh is originally from New Jersey and prior to returning to Ross, where he received his BBA in 2016, he lived in NYC for 5 years where he worked at a growing startup in HR Strategy and Operations. Josh is hoping to use his MBA to pivot into product marketing and other customer-facing roles, in either the technology or entertainment industry.

Michael spent the last 5 years in New York City, where he worked in growth marketing for GLG, and this summer he will be interning at Deloitte Consulting. Originally from Northern New Jersey, Michael grew up loving both great and terrible movies, and he would love to use his MBA to work at the intersection of business and film/entertainment.

Tiffany

Tiffany is currently a Masters in Management student at Ross with a focus in marketing. In addition to serving on the board of the Entertainment Media Club (EMC) and the Master in Management Student Association (MMSA), she is also the Event Manager for the "Welcome to the C-Suite Series" event. Tiffany has a strong passion for film and DEI and hopes to combine both into a career as an advocate for social issues through film.

Brown

A native of Newport News, Virginia, Johnathan (John) Brown is a Michigan Ross Class of 2024 MBA Candidate. Prior to joining the Rawse Difference, he served as a Marine Officer working for Headquarters, Marine Corps at the Pentagon. He plans to recruit for brand management roles in the entertainment industry. His passions are photography, cooking, and baking. A diehard James Bond fan and 9.5 out of 10 would say he's a great hugger.
However, he highly recommends you don't watch movies he's already seen because he'll probably start reciting the lines along with the characters.

Jenny
Sussna

Jenny is originally from north of Chicago, went to Northwestern for undergrad, and spent three years in NYC at ad agencies in account management, then two in San Francisco at a video game publisher in brand partnerships, and one living the dream working remotely while skiing in Colorado. Jenny is hoping to use her MBA to pivot into marketing in the entertainment industry.

Sidharth Shanker
Singh

Sidharth is from New Delhi, India. Sidharth is passionate about all things gaming. Prior to Ross, he was working at a unicorn gaming start-up working for 3.5 years as a software engineer developing card-based mobile games and fantasy sports. At Ross, Sidharth is looking to pivot to Digital Strategy looking to work at the intersection of gaming, media, and business.
He loves to watch and play soccer and is a die-hard Arsenal fan.

David
Amorim

David is originally from Brazil and grew up in Brazil, the US, and Portugal. An undergraduate in Biotechnology, David worked for 2.5 years in healthcare and agribusiness before pivoting to operations strategy consulting, where he spent the last 4 years as a consultant in Brazil. David is passionate about gaming (both as a player and an industry aspirant) and is currently recruiting for strategy consulting and gaming-related tech roles.

Archit
Arya

Archit is originally from New Delhi, India, and before Ross he was serving as a consultant with restructuring advisory practice of Duff & Phelps. He is planning to pivot to management consulting and hoping to focus on entertainment consulting projects. Most of his life is spent listening to music and engaging with stories (conversations, books, movies, series)
