Powering Tomorrow: Safe, Clean Energy for a Growing World
The University of Michigan's Ross Energy Club and the Michigan Energy Club are teaming up to present this year's Michigan Energy Conference. This event will bring together experts from more than 15 of the most important energy companies and organizations to address the major issues facing the industry today. Panelists will focus on the topics of natural gas, energy efficiency, the smart grid, and new transportation technologies.
The Michigan Energy Conference is an opportunity for students interested in the energy field to learn about new technologies, market trends, and other important factors that will shape the industry for years to come. In addition, the conference allows access to students interested in networking with some of the top energy companies that recruit at the University of Michigan. The event will take place at the Michigan League on the University campus on Friday, September 23rd, 2011 starting at 9a. A complete schedule of panels is available at the Energy Conference website at https://ross.campusgroups.com/energy/2011-energy-conference/. If you are interested in volunteering for the event please contact Ben Pierce at bmpierce@umich.edu.
