The University of Michigan's Energy Club at Ross proudly presents the 2018 Energy Conference! The Energy Conference is the University of Michigan's premier annual energy event, connecting experts from across the industry with students to foster engagement on the biggest opportunities and challenges in this space. The conference has been specifically designed to facilitate collaboration between students, speakers, and sponsors through panel discussions and breakout sessions that promote networking and learning. The Energy Conference will take place at the Ross School of Business on Friday, September 28, 2018 in the Ross Colloquium.

This year's theme is "Disruptive Futures in Energy Technology" where the focus will be on how disruptive technologies and innovative business models are rapidly shaping the future of energy. The event will include four panels featured below:

-Distruptive Technologies
-Big Tech
-Future of Traditional Energy Players
-Cleantech Entrepreneurship & Investment

The keynote speech will be delivered post-lunch by Sharon Beshouri, PhD (President, Shell Global Solutions, U.S.).

A networking reception will be held the evening prior to the conference from 7PM at UMMA (independent RSVP).
