The Whiskey Factory: Detroit Distillery Tour

Join the Food, Beverage, and Agriculture Club for a behind-the-scenes look at The Whiskey Factory, located in Detroit’s historic home of Stroh’s Ice Cream and Goebel Brewing Co. The guided walking tour offers an opportunity to explore where distilling meets history. Participants will learn about the art and science of spirit production—from grain to glass—while discovering how The Whiskey Factory preserves Detroit’s rich beverage-making heritage through its modern craft process.

$15 to attend, including carpooling to Detroit, first-come, first-served!

11:30 am -- Leave from Ann Arbor to Detroit
12:30 pm -- Tour begins
2:00 pm -- Tour ends; lunch or return to Ann Arbor (to be coordinated among carpool groups)
