REcruiters

Ross Career Development Office (CDO) can help you develop and benefit from an ongoing recruitment relationship with Ross. The CDO fulfills two complementary functions: preparing students for a successful career search, and managing an extensive on-campus interviewing process with companies and students.

Visit the Ross Recruiter Website to learn more about how your company can get involved on campus.

Plan recruiting activities through the Ross Marketing Club

In addition to the CDO there are many innovative ways for your company to connect with Marketing Club members and differentiate yourself from competitors. Please contact our Corporate Relations Team RMC-CorporateRelations@umich.edu to discuss specific opportunities.

Popular activities include:

  • Liaison Program: Liaisons will help your company with room bookings, flyer postings, introductions at presentations, and more. A selected first-year student will be dedicated to ensuring that everything on campus runs smoothly for your company.
  • Marketing Symposium: Ross' biggest Marketing event of the year. There are opportunities for sponsorship, keynote speeches and break-out session panelists, as well as several other ways to meet Ross MBA students.
  • Mock Interviews: First-year students get an opportunity to practice their interview skills, while you get an early glimpse of the candidate pool for summer interns. We generally try to schedule mock interviews close to the Marketing Symposium.
  • Educational Events or Case Competitions: These provide excellent opportunities to educate students about the complexities of your industry and are a great way to meet potential candidates. A recent addition are mini-case-competitions - these help you gauge student interest, and also help candidates prepare for interview case questions.
  • Site Visits/Day in the Life: Inviting students to your office is another excellent educational opportunity. This can be completed either through prearranged Marketing Club trips or special visits for pre-selected students.
  • Happy Hour/Social Event: Sure, education is important, but so is relaxing and having fun. Whether sponsoring the annual MBA Halloween party or a happy hour at The Brown Jug, your company can make a great impression with the right event.
