Details

Marketing Symposium is the signature recruiting event for the Michigan Marketing Club.

The theme this year is "Unite: Coming together to move forward." We will be joined by companies such as Clorox, Conagra Brands, Danone, Dell, Haleon, Johnson & Johnson, Kraft Heinz, Land O'Lakes, Mars Petcare, Molson Coors, Mondelez, PepsiCo and P&G!

To participate, MBA1 students are required to pay a $75 deposit to secure their spot in the event. The deposit will be refunded in full after Symposium concludes to students who attend ALL events from 11/16 to 11/18.

This year's keynote speaker is Anup Shah, Chief Marketing Officer at Tropicana Brands Group. The moderator will be Katherine Burson, Associate Professor of Marketing.

Note: Symposium is open to all MBA students that will be participating in internships in summer 2023. Participants must attend at least 3 mock interviews.

Wednesday, November 16th
7:00 pm - 9:00 pm: Welcome Reception at the Big House

Thursday, November 17th
12:00 pm - 5:00 pm: Mock Interviews (45 minutes each, 15 minute breaks)
5:30 pm - 6:00 pm: Keynote Speaker
7:00 pm - 8:30 pm: Speed Networking

Friday, November 18th
8:00 am - 9:00 am: Breakfast
9:00 am - 9:45 am: Kraft Company Presentation
10:00 am - 12:00 pm: Mock Interviews
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm: Lunch
1:00 pm - 3:00 pm: Mock Interviews
3:00 pm - 3:15 pm: Closing Remarks
