The Ross MBA Multidisciplinary Action Projects course a student-driven learning experience in graduate business education. Teams of students tackle pressing business challenges for sponsor organizations - major corporations, startups, and nonprofits all over the world.
Examples of projects in the retail and luxury industry are (note these change year-to-year):
Amazon: Complete and in-depth examination of the different types of Sellers on Amazon to create customized listing tools to enhance the Seller experience.
Clinique, Estée Lauder Companies: Devise an evolved sampling channel strategy that prioritizes recruitment of new consumers to the brand in order to stabilize and trigger brand growth.
MGM Resorts International: Build a strategic external marketing framework for MGM Resorts' corporate social responsibility initiatives.
Celebrity Cruises: Craft a business plan to increase the profitability of the Millennium Class cruise ships.
Walmart Stores, Inc.: Develop a tactical plan for positioning Walmart as a credible and preferred grocer for local and organic fresh produce.
Sears Holdings: Develop a positioning statement for the Home Business Unit with metrics for how to achieve world
