Welcome to The Retail and Luxury Goods Club
at The Ross School of Business!

The world of retail and luxury is dynamic and fast paced. Those who wish to succeed in the industry must have a finger on the pulse of innovation, social networks and trends. Customers are constantly changing their shopping patterns, search habits and desired commerce platforms.

The Retail and Luxury Goods Club (RLG) at the Ross School of Business is for graduate students interested in building careers in the luxury goods and retail industries. RLG provides students with the resources and tools for success in a variety of disciplines: marketing, finance, general management, consulting, supply chain and digital commerce.

About us

RLG is comprised of dedicated students who are passionate about the world of retail and luxury and wish to integrate their passion with the practical tools they obtain in business school, thereby creating a balance between the creativity and analytical skills needed in the industry. The club strives to provide its members with industry knowledge, professional opportunities, career planning, and interview and networking coaching.

Mission and Vision

RLG's mission is to establish the Ross School of Business as a core school at retail and luxury companies looking to recruit the unique and quality talent that only Ross can provide. Our mission will be achieved by developing our members professionally and academically, and by creating a connection between what is learned in the classroom and the current industry trends. In addition, we aim to expose students to the variety of roles and opportunities in the retail and luxury industry and help them achieve their professional goals.

RLG's vision is to grow and develop the club and its members by creating a strong connection between students, alumni and companies and create a fruitful collaboration. We strive to execute our vision through:
  • Educating students about the world of retail and luxury
  • Coaching and preparing members for interviews
  • Learning from Ross alumni working in various RLG roles
  • Collaborating with MBA RLG clubs across the US
