Automation is one of those scary, ambiguous terms because of its economic, social, and political repercussions. But, no matter what form it takes, automation isn't going anywhere. As technology changes the contours of work, how can employers and business leaders continue to value, include, and show compassion toward their people? Join Mark Capeless as he shares his journey in tech, experience building a scale software platform from scratch and what he's learned about being a general manager in the digital economy.

Join facilitators from D+B to explore how design thinking applies to constructing problems and solutions. In this workshop, participants will walk through a case and utilize design strategies to better approach research for their projects. Participants will leave with a toolkit of strategies to use when tackling customer-focused work.

This event will consist of presentations by each of our industry representatives and then a Q&A session moderated by Danielle Miller, MBA2 & VP of Events for the Health and Life Sciences Club (HLS).
