Details

Spring is blooming, and your Outdoor Club besties are hitting the road! Join us for a day trip to Holland, Michigan on Friday, May 9 for the iconic Tulip Time Festival — a colorful celebration of spring, Dutch heritage, and small-town charm.

📅 Trip Details:
Date: Friday, May 9
Departing A2: 8:00 AM
Return to A2: ~8:00 PM
Estimated Travel Cost: $10–$25 (depending on carpool needs and available cars)

🌷 What’s the Plan?
We’ll spend the day soaking in peak tulip season — wandering through blooming streets, watching Dutch dance performances in traditional costume, checking out the artisan and vintage markets, and catching quilt and art exhibits. Snap some iconic pics along Tulip Lanes and stroll through the charming downtown shops and cafes.

If you're up for it, we might also stop by Veldheer Tulip Gardens, one of the best Dutch tulip farms in the U.S. You’ll walk through vibrant fields, and yes — you can even pluck your own tulips!
Veldheer has an Entry Fee: ~$10–$20

Chic Eateries:
While in Holland, you can grab a bite at Hops at 84 East, a local favorite for pizza, brews, and great lake views. For coffee and cozy vibes, swing by Lemonjello’s, and don’t leave town without a stop at Captain Sundae — their ice cream is the real deal.

✅ RSVP by Wednesday, May 8
We need your RSVP to organize carpools and finalize logistics. Spots are limited.
