ALE46 Early Bird Tickets On Sale Now!

We are excited to announce early bird ticket sales are now open for the longest-running conference at the Ross School of Business, the 46th Alfred L. Edwards conference (2022 conference schedule below). Last year, we brought you an unforgettable virtual conference featuring outstanding panels, meaningful networking sessions, and an insightful conversation with keynote speaker former CNN commentator Angela Rye.

This year we welcome you BACK to Ann Arbor to experience the magic of ALE face to face. Our theme, 'Center Stage: In the Spotlight of Transformation', will explore the evolution of Black America in Business and Society. We are convening high quality speakers and rolling out the red carpet for a Gala extravaganza you won't want to miss!

We've got big plans in store and can't wait to share more details with you in the weeks to come. Until then, be sure to secure your ticket now at a discounted price.

Can't wait to see you on campus.

Stay blessed,
Your ALE Conference Chairs

On behalf of the Black Business Students Association (BBSA) at the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business, it is our pleasure to invite you to the 46th Annual Alfred L. Edwards (ALE) Conference and Celebration, from Friday, February 4th – Saturday, February 5th, 2022 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. This year's theme is Center Stage: In the Spotlight of Transformation.

This year's conference will be hosted virtually, while still offering some in-person programming for those who come to campus. Room reservations will be made at Ross for those who would like to gather, watch and engage with our virtual speakers. We are very much looking forward to continuing this honored tradition, but certainly believe safety and health are the number top priorities. Current students are encouraged to come to campus for the conference for networking opportunities with our esteemed alumni.

While some alumni and students will prefer to view the speakers and panels from the comfort of their homes, we will have classrooms set up in the Ross building on campus for those who still plan on traveling to Ann Arbor for the conference and would like to watch together in person. *Please note that a face covering is required inside all campus facilities.* A cocktail hour with light horderves will follow the Keynote address on Friday the 4th for those who choose to join us in person.

In order to attend ALE in person, we ask you provide the following upon check-in:

-In line with current university protocols*, guests are required to provide proof of a negative Covid-19 test result within 72 hours of the event
-A completed Guest ResponsiBLUE: a questionnaire that verifies you do not have Covid-19 symptoms or have not been in contact with someone who has tested positive. We will share a link to the ResponsiBLUE website and app download closer to the event date.
-Face coverings are required inside all campus buildings or on campus transit. ALE attendees will be required to wear face coverings during all conference events inside the Ross building.

*Please note university guidelines are subject to change. We will be sure to relay the most up-to-date Covid-19 guidelines as new information becomes available.

Please check out the BBSA Website for More Information.
All student registrants must be 21 years or older to attend the Conference's ALE Cocktail Hour, where alcohol will be served.
