Bain & Company will be giving an MBA2 presentation on Wednesday the 11^th, and we have a partner coming from Bain Houston who would love to meet people who are interested in consulting in Texas. Texas in general is attractive for Latin Americans looking to move to the US, and Bain in Texas has strong Latin representation.

Note that the presentation won't be specific to energy; it's about Bain in general, but Pedro Caruso (partner from Houston) would like to meet people before the presentation.

Texas in general:

•          Strong Hispanic heritage, from its origins as a Spanish colony to today’s large Hispanic population
•          Vibrant Latin community, with immigrants from every corner of Latin America, varied food options, rich art scene and tons of Latin music
•          Direct flights to most capital cities in Latin American
•          Warm weather, for those of us who enjoy heavy winters (but only during vacation time)

 

Bain Texas specifically:

•          The Dallas and Houston offices have strong Latin contingents at all levels, including two office heads, partners, managers, consultants and admin staff
•          Bain Texas often serves as a bridge to Mexico City and other Latin American offices for knowledge transfer, so there are opportunities to work on projects related to Central and South America where language and cultural knowledge can be beneficial.
