43rd Annual Alfred L. Edwards Conference

Date: February 8-9, 2019

Register by January 30, 2019

This year’s ALE theme was inspired by understanding and honoring your personal and professional journey to authentic leadership. In business school and in the workplace, you are taught the core knowledge and skills to succeed as a professional. For example, the focus is often on teaching tangible skills like reading a financial statement or negotiating a contract. However, there are few opportunities or spaces made to explore who you are as a unique individual. Examining personal stories of failure, resilience, and achievement, your guiding values and principles, and recognizing key people who have shaped your life can provide insight that lends itself to authentic leadership. Knowing who you are as a leader will become your key differentiator. We hope this year’s ALE will support your journey and allow you to be the leader you have always wanted to be.
