Before coming to Ross, I worked in the chemical manufacturing industry for W.L. Gore in Delaware/Maryland where I contributed in roles as an industrial engineer and digital transformation program manager. I saw an MBA as an opportunity to make the jump from operations and project management to the strategic business leadership side of the industry; My recruiting focus is on general management leadership development programs and internal strategy roles.
The collaborative student body, incredibly supportive alumni network, and breadth of on-campus recruiting options are only a few of the reasons why I chose Ross and the list keeps getting longer by the day. I am a first generation US American with a penchant for creative thinking and a strong appreciation of cinema, music, European football, and the culinary arts. My biggest hope at Ross is to bring my experience, passion, and curiosity to professional organizations (GMC), affinity groups (EBSA), and social clubs (Soccer Club @ Ross) and foster rich communities in each one.

Prior to my Ross journey, I served in the Indian Air Force as a missile combat officer for 12 years. As an engineer, I had a dual role of handling combat in Air Defense and managing the assets' engineering aspect. During my time in the military, I performed multiple roles within the organization as an engineer, strategist, Administration & HR, training, and everything under mission management which influences my passion for General Management.

When I decided to transition out of the military, I wanted to be in a business school that celebrates collaboration and camaraderie. Ross stood out to me during my application process for the same reason. During my time at Ross, I am excited to learn business foundations and transform my leadership and military strategy skills to better suit the corporate world.

I recruited for both consulting and GM roles during my MBA1 year. I am passionate about coaching and mentoring. I am looking forward to working with club officers to facilitate resources for supporting the members of the club. Outside of MBA life, I spend my time learning about ancient cultures and traveling.

Hello! My name is Jane and I am a Full-Time MBA, class of 2024. I went to Colorado College for undergrad. Prior to Ross, I very briefly worked in private wealth management. After this I found that I was interested in different areas and I pivoted my career to work for a not-for-profit in higher education, Ithaka S+R, where I worked on strategy, research, and both internal and external consulting in NYC. This role unlocked my passion for strategy and my desire to change my career. I saw that many times there is only so much that you can do at a not-for-profit due to funding reasons. Having completed my Masters of Management at Ross I always knew that I wanted an MBA and it was a dream of mine to pursue this degree. I couldnÔÇÖt be happier at Ross! I saw the MBA as an opportunity to transition my career from not-for-profit to a for profit, change industries, and change job functions. My recruiting focus is on general management, specifically internal strategy, internal consulting, and corporate strategy roles. My secondary recruiting focus has been on leadership development (LDP) programs within general management. I find strategy fascinating! A fun fact about me is that I was born and raised in Ann Arbor! Go Blue!!

After graduating with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from a top engineering school in India, I began my career in a glass bottle manufacturing company where I was quickly promoted to an Assistant Manager position. My passion for operations and process improvement allowed me to add significant value to the company, where I was involved and led numerous projects.
However, my college days as a cadet in the Naval cadet corps drew me back to the military, and in December 2011, I was commissioned as an officer in the Indian Navy, specializing in hydrography. Over the years, I evolved from a manager to a leader, responsible for operations, training, logistics, welfare, improvement, and motivation. Eventually, I transitioned out of the military to pursue an MBA in order to use my experience and Business school education to create a strong positive impact in the industry. At Ross, I am also a Tauber Institute fellow and will be interning for a Business Operations and Strategy project for a leading manufacturing firm. Being a part of the board for GMC, I believe that I will be able to fill the void of a strategic operations expert to guide the club members toward achieving their professional goals. I am eager to use my experience and knowledge to create a dynamic and impactful program for all the members. I believe that my experience, skills, and passion for education and professional development would guide me to successfully pursue the role of VP of Education for the Club. Outside school, I love to whistle a lot. I am also an avid language learner and currently trying my skills in Spanish. I am a hardcore foodie and enjoy preparing novel cocktails for friends and family!

Hi! I am Alessia, and I am originally from Italy. Before Ross, I was an associate underwriter at US Risk Insurance Group in Houston, TX. At Ross, I recruited for leadership development programs in General Management and healthcare.
My hobbies are baking gluten-free treats, hiking, dancing, and singing.
Last year, I found the resources of the club and the GM conference extremely helpful in getting to know the companies and shaping my career path. As a board member, I want to give back and support the upcoming members of the club by organizing events and developing corporate relationships.
