This presentation navigates a process that identifies the "worthy many" accretive possibilities from which a "vital few" are rationalized. The initiatives are described in some combination of culture, growth, and productivity. Part of the lecture reviews the pros and cons of internal operating partners versus external topical subject matter experts.
Mr. Lanier is Founder and CEO of Middle Market Methods, a consulting practice offering proven value-creation solutions to portfolio companies of private equity firms. Mr. Lanier's complementary private equity positions include Excellere Partners as Partner--Strategy and Operations, KRG Capital Partners as Chief Quality Officer, and GE Capital as an Access GE consultant. Mr. Lanier's experience spans over 125 portfolio companies of at least 35 sponsors in numerous industries to drive growth, productivity, and leadership development through deliverables such as strategic planning, process improvement, salesforce effectiveness, technology application, acquisition integration, and talent management. Mr. Lanier is certified in process reengineering, change-management, and Six Sigma (Master Black Belt).
