Amirah is a first year student at Ross. Originally from Miami, FL Amirah was always really passionate about social impact. After graduating with a B.A. in International Relations, she went to go work for the Obama Administration in DC, and helped formulate public policy on how we can govern our digital investments, and better modernize our federal technology. This led her to move to the west coast, and begin working for a social-innovation start-up in LA. She is currently recruiting for both innovation/design consulting roles & product management. In her little free time, you can find Amirah in the kitchen, cooking + snapping photos for her Instagram stories with everything she creates. She is a 5-year Yelp Elite member, and records her restaurants critiques everywhere she goes. Her plan X is to open a coffee shop with homemade bites in NYC.
Patrick is doing his MBA with a focus on healthcare administration and the mental / behavioral health space in particular. Before coming to Ross he worked for years as a CPA at BDO (a global public accounting network) as well as at a startup primary care physician group. He graduated from UC Irvine with a major in Economics and flailed through MBA1 Stats with everyone else.
Patrick's using his 2 years in Ann Arbor to dive into the world of healthier recipes, which is new for him. He's enjoying the challenge of cooking on a student budget! Other current interests include exploring Michigan and teaching his dog Maisie new tricks.

He is an adventurous eater and loves discovering new flavors. One of his favorite past-times is to travel the world and to take cooking classes abroad.
