What trips does the Ski & Snowboard Club organize?
The Ski & Snowboard Club organizes two trips each year: A trip to the west coast and a trip to Boyne Highlands Resort in northern Michigan.
Our West Coast trip location is usually announced in mid-September, and sign-up typically goes live in early October. Historically, anywhere from 80-120 students have attended the West Coast trip. While most students and partners choose to ski and snowboard during the trip, many also enjoy other activities such as tubing, snowshoeing, and relaxing at a spa. We work with our partner, Ski Sync, to secure deals on lift tickets, rentals, hotels, and après ski. If you are in search of knee-deep powder, pool-side DJs, and the best skiing North America has to offer, this trip is for YOU. Past locations have included Whistler and Jackson Hole.
Our trip to Boyne Highlands usually takes place in Winter A, and sign-up typically goes live in November. Historically, 650+ students and partners have attended. You can count on an unforgettable weekend of live music, theme parties, downhill ski races, and great snow. Boyne is considered one of the premier social events at Ross - you won't want to miss it!
When is the West Coast trip?
Our West Coast trip is tentatively planned for Sunday, January 10th, 2021 – Friday, January 15th, 2021, to Heavenly Resort in Lake Tahoe. We are currently moving forward with the trip as planned, but with added security measures given the current COVID-19 situation.
When is Boyne?
Our Boyne trip is tentatively planned for Friday, January 29th, 2021 – Sunday, January 31st, 2021. Given the current COVID-19 situation, it is possible that we cancel this trip. We will announce our decision by mid-October.
Who can join the club?
We welcome all current MBA students (full-time, part-time, global) and partners.
