"From Dracula's haunts to Alpine raves and now on the hunt for American slopes!"
Raz was born in Romania and started skiing in the Carpathians at 3, then took his moves to the Alps in Austria, Switzerland, and Italy. Snowboarded for a couple of years, but skiing has his heart! Fave spots: Soelden, Ischgl, Livigno. Now, he's ready to explore the US slopes! And of course, apres-ski is his cardio ÔÇô let's shred and party!

Andrew
Haeger

VP of Powder Shots

ahaeger@umich.edu

Andrew grew up attempting to shred the wonderfully thick and heavy snow in the Pacific Northwest. Originally from Seattle, he earned his wipeout stripes on middle school ski bus, skiing with significantly superior skiers, until he could finally keep up. Andrew now skis Alta, Jackson, and the Canadian Rockies as many days a year as possible, chasing pow with ice cold stubbies and never missing apr├®s.

Jenny
Sussna

jsussna@umich.edu

Jenny grew up near Chicago and has spent time in NYC (refused to ski east coast sry), SF and living the dream in Colorado. She learned on the bunny slopes of Beaver Creek, always chasing the warm chocolate chip cookies. She spends as much time as possible in Summit County Colorado, but her favorite mountains are Vail, Aspen, and A Bay. For the past three years, she is now (broke) and the proud owner of both Epic and Ikon passes.

Ian
Corey

VP of Apres & Altitude

icorey@umich.edu

Morgan
Manchester

mmanch@umich.edu

Morgan grew up outside of Boston, where her parents insisted on making the 3-hour journey to Sugarbush every weekend from December through March. She grew up in a household with "powder day rules" (i.e., if theres powder, it's acceptable to leave anyone who is slow or needs a break behind). Eventually, she gave up her narrow, downhill racing skis for a pair of thick powder skis that could better hit the slopes of Colorado, but still likes testing how fast they'll go on an icy day. Her favorite kind of apres is a beer, chips & guac.

Taylor
Wilkerson

VP of DEI

twlamot@umich.edu

Taylor grew up in the Bay Area and mostly skied Lake Tahoe. After a brief hiatus, she returned back to skiing 4 years ago and developed a love for the sport all over again! While not an expert (reppin' for the solid blue girlies), she's very passionate about making snow sports accessible to everyone and is excited to lead Diversity & Inclusion for the club.

Lauren
Tweel

VP of Glades over Groomers

ltweel@umich.edu

Lauren grew up in the #1 best skiing state...New Jersey! Just kidding.. but she was fortunate enough to have learned how to ski out west and hasn't missed a season since. Her obsession with skiing brought her to ski bum during Covid, bouncing from mountains in WA, OR, & CA. Her favorite mountains are Big Sky, Whistler, and Mt. Bachelor (but the last one is mostly for the beer of Bend, OR).

Bobby
Roenitz

VP of Skiing Fast

roenitz@umich.edu

Bobby hails from the boundless slopes of southeastern Wisconsin. A former alpine racing coach, Bobby is always down to help fellow Rossers graduate from pizza to french fry. Bobby is rarely serious, but there's one thing he doesn't joke about: hydration.

Alexander
Vergara

VP of Onesies & Sendies

alexver@umich.edu

Alex grew up outside Chicago, where contrary to popular belief, there are no mountains. A college stint in Boulder, CO opened his eyes to the ski bum lifestyle and the rest is history. Often found chasing pow lines and throwing back yellow jackets, he welcomes you to the best clerbbb at Ross.

Nevin
Clay

Co-President

nevinc@umich.edu

Nevin grew up alpine racing in Vermont and Massachusetts. New England skiing will always have a special place in his heart but he now prefers trips to more grand mountain ranges. Nevin loves a soft/fluffy run more than anything, but can often be found slicing corduroyed groomers. His favorite mountain is the next one.

Sophie
Fitchett

VP of Europe

sofitch@umich.edu

Sophie grew up skiing and snowboarding in Scotland (avoiding rocks) and the French Alps. Sophie loves fresh powder, long runs and boarding with friends. Her favourite après drink is beer with peach syrup (try it!!). Ask her about moving to the US, and Europe's skiing and incredible après scene.

Kyle
Robb

Co-President

kylerobb@umich.edu

Kyle grew up shredding edgie wedgies on the slopes of the Sierra Nevada. Kyle loves deep pow and steep slopes, and loves to look for the sketchiest chute to hit on every mountain he visits. Ask him about the west coast - he is always up to defend In-N-Out, the beach, and the miracle that is Lake Tahoe powder.
