Born and raised in the flat lands of New Jersey, Ellen found her love of skiing again after her best friend accidentally took her on a black diamond run during her first time back on skis in 10 years. Needless to say it was the run of her life. Ellen now skis mostly in Colorado (favorite mountain is Breck), and tries to visit a new mountain every year (last year was Big Sky). If she were a drink, she would be a spicy margarita, because she is spicy and will keep the fun going on and off the mountain.
Andrew learned to ski on the ice rinks that masquerade as trails in his native Northeast. However, skiing didn't become life until his best friend forced him down his first black diamond. The need for speed and fresh pow only grew from there and now he loves zooming down black groomers, tree runs, moguls, and anything bowl-related. Vail is easily his favorite mountain but Tucker at Copper Mountain has his favorite terrain.
Nick grew up in the Pacific Northwest battling Cascade concrete at Alpental and Mt. Baker. After extended stints on both skis and a snowboard, he still cannot quite decide which he enjoys more. But he will gladly eschew form for dangerous levels of rad on either type of equipment. Nick hopes to share an easy cruiser or friendly race with you this year. And, of course, a frosty mountain cold snack or two.
Ed grew up snowboarding in the Northeast, mostly during short trips to Vermont. He switched to skiing while he was stationed in Colorado during his time in the Army and hasn't looked back. Ed loves all things mountain - skiing, hiking, climbing, chopping wood. His favorite hobbies include extended motorcycle rides, photography and drinking anejo tequila with his ski buddies.
Growing up outside of Detroit, Lindsey learned to ski at the age of 3 on the bunny hills of Northern Michigan. She has since advanced to black diamonds, skiing in Vail and Vermont every winter. Après ski, Lindsey enjoys warming up in winter yurts and is known by friends for her homemade hot toddys.
