The Energy Club at Ross (ECR) is a group of talented University of Michigan students who share an interest in energy. ECR promotes career development by providing a forum for education about all aspects of business in the energy sector. ECR offers opportunities for students to discuss and learn about subjects such as Solar, Wind, Utilities, Energy Finance, Energy Consulting, Sustainability, Energy Efficiency, Energy Policy, Cleantech, Energy Storage, and Transmission within both traditional and renewable energy sectors. Members receive counseling on career paths, resume reviews, and mock interviews as well as opportunities to meet with a variety of energy companies seeking to recruit top MBA, BBA, and other University of Michigan graduate students
Our mission is to provide our members with education and employment opportunities in the energy industry that enable our members to become leaders of the energy transition. This includes three primary objectives:
1. To promote interest in energy among students and faculty at the Ross School of Business, as well as within the broader University of Michigan campus.
2. To provide a forum for students to learn more about opportunities in the energy industry and discuss energy-related topics.
3. To facilitate career development in traditional and renewable energy sectors by mentoring talented students and connecting energy recruiters with these knowledgeable and motivated career seekers.
