he University of Michigan's Energy Club at Ross (ECR) proudly presents the 2017 Michigan Energy Conference. The Michigan Energy Conference is one of U-M’s premier annual energy events and the largest such university conference in the state of Michigan. It brings leading experts from around the world together with students from across U-M to address some of the biggest challenges facing the energy industry. The conference will be co-sponsored by the U-M Energy Institute and has been designed to optimize collaboration between students, speakers and sponsors.

This years theme is "Energy and the States" where the focus will be on state and municipal-level energy policy and how recent federal actions have impacted strategy and planning at the different levels.

In addition to the conference on September 29th, a Networking Kickoff will be held on the night of
September 28th at the University of Michigan Museum of Art (UMMA). All conference attendees, speakers, and
