Each is centered on action-based learning, an approach to business education that goes beyond studying cases. By building bridges between the classroom experience and real organizational settings, Ross MBAs learn leadership not just by example, but by practice as well.

  • Full-time MBA: Currently ranked #7 by US News, the Full-time MBA Program offers a rigorous, two-year curriculum. The program attracts students with significant prior academic and career accomplishments.
  • Part-time MBA: Each of our part-time formats has its own scheduling and academic benefits. Both follow the same curriculum as the Full-time Program and conclude with the same MBA degree valued all over the world.
  • Evening Format: Students in the Evening Format have an average of 6 years of work experience and tremendous flexibility to customize the curriculum to meet their needs and schedules.  They take an average of four years to complete their degree while working full-time. As their schedules permit, Evening students also may take classes during the day and participate in extracurricular activities with the full-time students.
  • Weekend Format: The Weekend Format is taught in a cohort-driven model that includes some distance learning to complement on-campus classes in Ann Arbor every other weekend. It is designed to allow students to work full time while completing the degree in an intensive two years.
  • Executive MBA (EMBA): EMBAs participate in a very selective cohort of professionals with an average of 12 years of experience before they join our program.  Many have been chosen by their current employers to receive this intensive education as high potential executives within their own organizations. The program takes two years to complete, with students coming to Ann Arbor once a month.
