Club programming varies from year to year, but here are some annual events FB&A hosts.
Internship Panel
FB&A kicks off each Fall with the Internship Panel. During the panel, 3-5 MBA2s and MBA3s (dual degree students) share out their summer experience and answer questions from new members seeking to recruit into those functions or companies. This year, panelists presented on Operations at Nestle Purina, Brand Management at General Mills, Strategy at Indigo Ag, and Sustainability at PepsiCo.
AgTech Fireside Chat
In collaboration with Tech Club at Ross, FB&A hosts a discussion of agtech industry trends and innovations. This event often features emerging start-ups such as ClimateAI as well as established players like Indigo Ag.
Ross DEI Week Lunch and Learn
Each year FB&A Club explores DEI issues in our food system through hosting lunch and learns during Ross DEI Week. Previous lunch and learns include "From Sell-In to Social Impact - Navigating the Complexities of the Dollar Channel for Food & Resource Access," a conversation with alumni in the CPG and dollar-store retail industry and "Economic Equity in the Food System: Challenges and Opportunities for Black-owned Farms," a conversation on non-extractive finance with Potlikker Capital and local farmers and activists.
